David Henrie is among the archived NYMLF breakfast sessions
David Henrie is an Emmy-nominated actor, director, and producer with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He’s the founder and CEO of Novo Inspire Studios, a film and television production and finance studio making faith, family, and values content for broad audiences.
Beginning his career at age 9, Henrie has appeared in more than 200 television episodes and numerous feature films. He gained widespread recognition for his starring role with Selena Gomez in Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, earning two Emmy Awards and amassing a dedicated fanbase of over 14 million followers across social media.
David and Novo returned to Disney to produce and star with Selena Gomez in the record-breaking Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the most-watched family sitcom premiere in Disney+ history. David also portrayed a young Ronald Reagan in the feature film Reagan, alongside Dennis Quaid.
As a director, Henrie helmed Monster Summer, starring Mel Gibson, Kevin James, and Mason Thames, which climbed to #1 on Paramount+.
Novo has four current projects in production and many others in development. Among them are Angel and The Badman, for Angel studios and Resurrection of the Christ, for Lionsgate. Novo acquired the life rights to Jack Nicklaus and has partnered with Jonathan Roumie to develop his next starring vehicle after The Chosen.
